| It wasn’t love at
first sight. The earth didn’t shake. No song played in the background
and fireworks didn’t light up the sky when they first met, but fate
had other plans.
A fine mix of romance and solemnity filled the air the day heiress and children’s rights advocate Jamby Madrigal took the hand of French nobleman and businessman Eric Dudoignon-Valade in marriage. The two close friends who got engaged by having a discussion about their future children exchanged vows are the Madrigal farm in Calatagan, Batangas last December. Under a beautifully decorated tent, Jamby walked down
the aisle strewn with red rose petals in a white Jojie Lloren duchesse
satin gown into the arms of a clearly enchanted Eric. |
They celebrated the entire
mass in Latin with the Dominican fathers and San Miguel Choir and Chamber
Ensemble. A lovely reception followed decorated by Antonio Garcia and
catered by Margarita Fores. Exquisite wine from the cellars of Eric’s
parents. Michel and Catherine Dudoignon-Valade, were provided for the
toasts, and the couple cut the wedding cake by Heny Sison and Malou Unson.
At the same time, an awesome fireworks display burst into the sky with
Handel’s “Music for the Royal Fireworks” soaring through
the air. The energy stayed up as family and friends danced all night,
with the Blue Rats Band and Mulatto performing. Jamby can finally say
Eric made the earth shake, the music swell, and color burst into the sky. |
